I had been thinking of hypnotherapy for a while but decided to go for it in January. I wanted some help with weight management (not loss as we have a habit of finding what we lose). I have had four or five trips to see Christine and it has really helped. I'm a big fan of positive thinking anyway and in visualizing how I want to be so thought it'd be a good idea to get my subconscious on board! I really enjoyed the sessions, they gave me a lot of 'me' time and I was able to discuss my relationship with food and the issues behind eating which was great. We also had a few sessions on a hypnotherapy gastric band which has helped me to eat less. Since January I have reduced my weight by 8lb, and it has stayed off, which is always the hardest bit in my opinion. I do now feel 100% confident that I am in control of what I eat and that I am going to succeed in getting where I want to be, and if there are hiccups along the way then I'll deal with them and not go back to square one. So if you're thinking about trying this I would advise you to give it a go, the sessions are very safe and relaxing. When I think of all the money I've wasted over the years on diet clubs, products, pills and books (I have quite a library now)- I wish I'd tried this a bit sooner.
